NASARA @3: DAN'MAJEN GWANDU LEADS WITH N25m DONATION

THREE (3) YEARS ANNIVERSARY: Dan'majen Gwandu, Family And Associates Show Unwavering Support for Nasara Women Development Foundation

In an inspiring act of generosity, Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk, Managing Director of NAMA, alongside his family, friends, and associates, made a significant donation to the Nasara Women Development Foundation during the celebration of its 3rd anniversary and the official launch of Nasara Chronicles Magazine.

Engr. Farouk took the lead all over Kebbi State with a contribution of ₦25,000,000 ,(Twenty-five Million Naira) and a vehicle to support the foundation’s operations and logistics. His wives, Hajiya Farida Ahmed Umar Farouk and Hajiya Samira Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu)—who is the daughter of the First Lady of Kebbi State, Hajiya Zainab Nasare—each donated ₦10,000,000. Hon. Kabiru Labbo Jega also generously gave ₦10,000,000.

Other key donors included Hon. Abdullahi Umar Faruk Muslim, Commissioner of Works in Kebbi State, who contributed ₦5,000,000, along with Alhaji Kasimu Ibrahim, Alhaji Abdullahi Usman Gwandu (PA to the MD, NAMA), Nafi’u Muhammad Argungu (ODT, NAMA), Alhaji Rabi’u Ibrahim Liman Dan Tani, Babangida Pele (PRO), and Abubakar ABK, each of whom donated ₦1,000,000.

This generous outpouring of support was part of a special event that celebrated the foundation’s three years of impactful work, as well as the launch of Nasara Chronicles Magazine, a publication highlighting stories of empowerment, advocacy, and positive social change.

At the core of this mission is Her Excellency, Hajiya Zainab (Nasara) Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), the First Lady of Kebbi State, who also serves as the Founder and Chairperson of the Nasara Women Development Foundation. Hajiya Zainab has been a driving force behind the foundation’s success, and her unwavering commitment to the Renewed Hope Initiative, led by Nigeria’s First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is commendable.

Through various programs focusing on health, education, agriculture, girl-child education, and economic empowerment, Hajiya Zainab has continued to champion the needs of vulnerable groups, empowering women, especially petty traders, with grants and initiatives designed to reduce poverty and promote sustainable community development.

As her son-in-law, Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk, along with his family, continues to provide steadfast support for her vision and remains committed to advancing the goals of Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu)’s administration.
