Education Minister Meets Kebbi Students

Organises Essay Competition For Kebbi students.

The Minister of State for Education, Dr. Tanko Yusuf Sununu, has created a platform for essay competition among Kebbi State students to improve their English grammar and enhance their knowledge of current affairs  with emphasis on their trip to Abuja.

Addressing students from the state on educational visit to Abuja this Friday, Dr. Sununu enticed them to read well and win prizes in the competition.

He advised the students to aspire to acquire quality education in all fields of knowledge to prepare them for future professional callings.

The Minister reaffirmed pledge to sustain support to the educational pursuit of pupils and students in Kebbi State. 

In response, the Wife of the State Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, commended Dr. Sununu for being a shining light in uplifting the education sector of the country.

She acknowledged his penchant for improving the educational growth of Kebbi State through infrastructural development.

Some students from the state including the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Halima Muhammad Bande,  are in Abuja for an educational event and excursion to places of educational interest.
