MALAMI WOMEN SUPPORT INITIATIVE

 (MAWOSI) DISTRIBUTES RAMADAN WELFARE PACKAGE IN YAURI EMIRATE

Hon.Halima Hassan Tukur, the Chief Executive Officer of MAWOSI, has on Monday 11/04/2022 on behalf of Hon. Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, (Dr.) Abubakar Malami, SAN distributed bags of rice, millets, sugar and wrapper to numerous group of women across Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski local governments, as palliative to people of Yauri Emirate.

Recalled on Saturday 9th April,2022 the Hon. Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami flagged-off the distribution of assorted food items to 21 local governments and different communities of the State.

Hon. Minister expanded such palliative to other supporting groups for wider circulation to the people of the state. Hence the resolution of MAWOSI to hit the ground running by distributing its allocation in due time.

On arrival at the city  of Yauri, the MAWOSi enteronge first paid a homage to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Yauri, Dr. Zayyanu Abdullahi, the Emir appreciate the gesture and ask the Hon. Minister to extended such generosity to the victims of banditry attacks in the Emirate.

Speaking at the accassion, the representative of Hon. Chairman of Yauri and Sarkin Turaku, Alhaji Bala A. Shehu PT commends Hon. Halima Hassan Tukur for her tenacity in ensuring Yauri Emirate is not left behind in any scheme of things. He pray for the success of Abubakar Malami in all his life here in world and hereafter.

All the speakers at the accassion were full of praise to Hon. Abubakar Malami and Hon. Halima for the gesture.

Responding, Hon. Halima Hassan Tukur, thank the participants and promise more palliative to the people of the Emirate as soon as possible.

Hon. Halima was accompanied by MAWOSI officials such as Prof. Mumtaz Ahmed, Barrister Aisha Abdulmumin, Alh. Isah Assalafi ( State PRO, APC). Haj. Zainab Tukur, Haj. Murja Hali, Ahmad Umar, Rahmu Hamidu, Ramatu Muhammmad, Rabi Umar and Balkisu Umar.
