Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar Honoured with Appreciation Award for Exemplary Leadership and Strategic Support to NAMA Audit Department
The Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, FNSE, FCIA, MCOREN, NPOM (Danmajen Gwandu / Gamjin Kabi), has been presented with an Appreciation Award in recognition of his exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment, and consistent strategic support to the Agency’s Audit Department.
The award was conferred during the 2025 Audit Department Retreat, held on 26th November, 2025, as part of activities aimed at reviewing departmental performance, strengthening institutional controls, and reinforcing best practices in governance and accountability. The presentation acknowledged Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar’s esteemed presence at the retreat and his inspiring leadership, which have continued to motivate and empower the Audit Department in the effective discharge of its responsibilities.
