NAMA MD/CEO Presents SERVICOM Special Recognition Award to Minister of Aviation


The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), *Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk*, has presented the SERVICOM Office, Presidency Special Recognition Award received by the Agency to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, *Barr. Festus Keyamo, SAN*.

The award, tagged *#SERVICOMWORKSHERE*, was conferred on *NAMA* in recognition of its sustained drive towards connecting government to citizens and positively impacting lives through quality service delivery in Nigeria. Notably, this recognition was also awarded to NAMA in the previous year, underscoring the Agency’s consistency, institutional strength, and sustained commitment to service excellence.

Two SERVICOM Presidency Special Recognition Awards were conferred — one on the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) in recognition of its institutional commitment to quality service delivery, and another on the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer for his exemplary leadership and personal contribution to driving service excellence across the Agency.
While presenting the award, *Engr. Farouk* attributed the back-to-back recognition to the Minister’s visionary leadership, clear policy direction, and unwavering support, which continue to enhance accountability, efficiency, and customer-focused service delivery across the aviation sector.

In his response, *Barr. Festus Keyamo, SAN*, appreciated the gesture and commended NAMA management and staff for their professionalism and dedication. He encouraged the Agency to sustain the momentum, deepen service delivery reforms, and continue to align with the Federal Government’s aviation development agenda.

The SERVICOM Special Recognition Award, dated *17th December 2025* and signed by the National Coordinator/CEO, SERVICOM, further affirms NAMA’s standing as a model public institution delivering quality and people-centred services.
