MD, NAMA Engages his Directors

MD/CEO Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar Leads Final Management Meeting of 2025 as NAMA Directors Demonstrate Strong Teamwork in Advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, FNSE, FCIA, MCOREN, NPOM (Danmajen Gwandu / Gamjin Kabi), on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, presided over the Authority’s final management meeting of the year, bringing together Directors to review key operational achievements and align on strategic priorities for sustained institutional growth.

The meeting provided an opportunity for management to review the year’s performance, consolidate gains across all directorates, and reaffirm commitment to operational efficiency, aviation safety, service delivery, and NAMA’s statutory mandate. It also marked the conclusion of scheduled management meetings for the year, barring any unforeseen developments.

The engagement highlighted the cordial and collaborative working relationship between the MD/CEO and his Directors, reflecting a united, purpose-driven leadership team committed to steering NAMA in the right direction. This cohesion underscores the confidence reposed in NAMA’s management by the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, Esq., SAN, and His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Through professionalism, unity of purpose, and effective collaboration, the MD/CEO and his Directors continue to advance reforms in line with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, while strengthening institutional performance and projecting a positive image of the current administration.
