NAMA MD/CEO Departs for Strategic Aviation Engagements in UK and France

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, has departed Nigeria for the United Kingdom and France on a strategic official assignment aimed at advancing the Agency’s mandate and strengthening international aviation cooperation.

The visit aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly the drive to reposition NAMA to operate at global standards in line with the International Civil Aviation Organization Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs). It is expected to enhance technical capacity, support the implementation of key Federal Government aviation projects, and promote the modernization of Nigeria’s airspace management infrastructure.

The assignment underscores the administration’s commitment to improving air navigation safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance, while strengthening Nigeria’s position within the global aviation community.
