Kebbi Concerned Citizens Commends Gov. Idris And MD NAMA
KEBBI CONCERNED CITIZENS COMMEND NAMA MD AND KEBBI STATE GOVERNMENT FOR TIMELY ACTION ON HAJJ SAFETY
The Kebbi Concerned Citizens group has proudly commended the Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk, and the Kebbi State Government under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for their timely and strategic efforts to ensure the safety of pilgrims traveling for this year's Hajj.
With the successful calibration of the navigational aids at Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport (SABIA), Birnin Kebbi, the people of Kebbi State and intending pilgrims have been given renewed confidence that their sacred journey to Saudi Arabia will be carried out in the safest conditions possible.
The group hailed Engr. Farouk’s leadership at NAMA for ensuring that all navigational systems meet the rigorous International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards. “Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk’s commitment to safety and operational excellence is not just professional—it is personal. Being a proud son of Kebbi, he understands how important the Hajj pilgrimage is to our people, and he has gone above and beyond to make sure our pilgrims travel with peace of mind,” the group stated.
The Kebbi Concerned Citizens also praised the Kebbi State Government, led by Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for supporting initiatives that prioritize the safety and welfare of pilgrims. “The collaboration between NAMA and the Kebbi State Government reflects a shared commitment to the wellbeing of our citizens. We are proud to have leaders who put the safety and dignity of their people first.
Special commendation was also given to the Navigational Aids Calibration Team, led by Engr. S.D. Miri, including Capt. Jim Hassan, Capt. Barau Muhammad, Moses Adeagbo, James Ameh, Aliyu Ismail Haladu, Badamasi Yusuf, and Samuel Falaye. The group further recognized Bello Sahabi, the Airspace Manager at Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, for his unwavering dedication and operational excellence in ensuring the success of this critical exercise.
As thousands of pilgrims prepare to embark on their spiritual journey, the Kebbi Concerned Citizens expressed their profound gratitude, confident that with such leadership, safety, efficiency, and excellence are guaranteed.
