1 Year In Office; Buhari Bala Rates Gov.Idris High
In a telephone interview on the occasion of the first anniversary of Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu's administration, Honorable Buhari Bala, Former Minister and Founder of Nagari FM Radio, diligently discussed critical issues affecting Kebbi State and evaluated the governance over the past year.
Regarding education, Buhari Bala praised the administration for its high achievements, citing the construction of new classrooms, the provision of educational aids, teacher training, and the payment of tuition scholarships to Kebbi State indigenes.
In the health sector, Bala noted the administration's success in rehabilitating and upgrading critical health centers, equipping them adequately, and making healthcare more affordable for the people of Kebbi.
On infrastructure, Bala highlighted the rehabilitation of many roads, the completion of the state secretariat, and the provision of clean water. He appealed to all citizens to set aside political differences and collaborate to enhance Kebbi State, emphasizing that unity would lead to job creation for the youth and increased agricultural productivity, ultimately reducing hunger and laziness.
Bala commended Dr. Idris Kauran Gwandu's bold steps in social welfare, including clearing pension and salary arrears and preparing to adopt a new salary scale. He believes that Kebbi now has a leader focused on wealth distribution, poverty alleviation, and youth empowerment, urging residents and civil servants to support the administration to achieve greater heights.
In the agricultural sector, Bala mentioned the administration's provision of solar pumps to boost rice production and other crops, along with free fertilizers, inputs, and machinery. He also noted efforts to provide renewable solar electricity to enhance the energy sector.
Bala concluded by calling for an end to unnecessary criticisms that are politically motivated , urging everyone to join hands with Dr. Idris Kauran Gwandu to build a prosperous Kebbi for future generations. He remarked that the achievements of the past year have surpassed those of the previous eight years combined, emphasizing the need for collective effort in realizing the state's potential.
