Kebbi First Lady  Empowers Entrepreneurs With Ten Million Naira.

Wife of the Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, has provided financial assistance of ten million naira to entrepreneurs attending the Ramadan Funfair in Birnin Kebbi to boost their business.

Addressing the traders at the Presidential Lodge this Sunday, Hajiya Zainab Nasare directed that all participants at the Fair should enjoy share of the money.
The wife of the governor commended all those who displayed their wares and items for sales including foodstuffs and dresses, for offering discount to buyers. 

Hajiya Zainab Nasare advised the traders to uphold their trade and continue to serve  customers even in their domiciles to enhance patronage.

She commended the State Coordinator of the Ramadan FunFair, Hajiya Maryam Bello Bala for encouraging and supporting small scale and petty traders to remain in business.
The wife of the governor was happy about the expansion of the Ramadan Fair above what obtained in the preceding year, acknowledging that traders of all categories within and outside the state, participated in this year's display.

The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Halima Muhammad Bande, in a remark, advised the traders to match commerce with educational pursuit of their children and ward for both economic prosperity and societal growth.

Dr. Halima Muhammad Bande was also emphatic that traders must abide by religious prescriptions in buying and selling of goods as Commanded by GOD, THE ALMIGHTY.
On his part, the Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development Alhaji Nura Fingila thanked the First Lady for providing moral and material support to youths to engage in profitable ventures, including marketing.

Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Budget and Economic planning, Hajiya Aisha Usman, dwelt on the values of entrepreneurship, urging the traders to imbibe the virtues of persistence and perseverance in trading activities under all circumstances as prerequisite for success.

 A representative of SMEDAN enlightened the Fair participants about the operations of the Agency and its mandate to boost small and medium scale businesses, while the representative of NAFDAC urged the state  government to assist the traders to formally register their businesses with the Agency to obtain legal permission for commercial ventures.

The Secretary of Nasara  Foundation, joint organisers of the Fair, Alhaji Jamilu Yahaya, in his vote of thanks, expressed appreciation to the wife of the governor for her humanitarian services and provision of economic empowerment to the people for self reliance.

The Ramadan Funfair was organised by the Association of Kebbi Women Entrepreneurs  in collaboration with the Nasara Foundation.
