BYE -ELECTION: WINNERS RECEIVES CERTIFICATE OF RETURN

 House of Representatives Bye-election in Kebbi State: 

HON. GARBA UMAR UBA AND HON.GARBA RABI'U KAMBA RECEIVES CERTIFICATE OF RETURNS

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Kebbi State office, has issued certificate of return to winners of the recent bye election held in Yauri/Shanga/Ngaski Federal Constituency and Arewa/Dandi Federal Constituency respectively.

The bye-election was as results of elevation of representatives of Yauri/Shanga and Ngaski  Hon. Tanko Sununu to ministerial position; and court order in Arewa and Dandi Federal Constituency.

INEC earlier declared Hon. Garba Umar Uba (Bullet)  winner in Yauri/Shanga and Ngaski Federal Constituency with 58,885 votes to defeat PDP candidate Hon. Garba Hassan Warrah who scored 16,842 votes.

In Arewa and Dandi Federal Constituency, it was neck and neck, Hon. Garba Rabi'u Kamba won with 32,432 votes to beat his opponent Hon. Umar Abdullahi Kamba of PDP who scored 31,858.

So far, the PDP candidate in Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski Federal Constituency, Hon. Warrah has accepted the defeat in good faith to the extent of visiting the winner Hon. Umar Uban at his house and congratulated him. A move impressed many people within and outside the Constituency.

As at time of filling this report, no official decision from PDP candidate in Arewa and Dandi Federal Constituency.

Kebbi-Trust learnt the said PDP Candidate Hon. Umar Abdullahi Kamba (Zimbo) is currently under numerous pressure, as some peace ambassadors are advising him to conceive the defeat and congratulate the winner (Hon. Garba Kamba),  same time some trouble makers are trying to mislead him to once again reject the election outcome.
