The inability of some consultantcy firm employed by the ministry of Humanitarian Affairs under National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) to pay hundreds of youths engaged as enumerators for Evaluation Survey is new series of unfortunate scandal tarnishing the image of the Ministry, currently facing ugly challenges from the right, left and center.

Recalled, some times this medium report that present Federal Government resolved to scrutinized the inherited National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) to find out the success or otherwise of the Programme, thus, engaged the service of the consultant to carry out the evaluation survey.

Finding by Kebbi-Trust revealed that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development originally engaged JB Singhai Nigeria Limited to carry out the evaluation survey.

Immediately, YUBADO CONSULTANT get the require data the story change. All efforts to make them pay these enumerators (N60,000 per person) has been exhausted but to no avail.

THE ENUMERATORS THREATENS LEGAL ACTION:

As peaceful effort to get their money paid failed, these engaged youths now resolved for legal action against YUBADO.

Kebbi-Trust learnt that all necessary steps for legal action have been concluded, all remain is official filing of the case any moment.

Our source reveals that some lawyers offer to stand for these youths free of charge, the client (engaged enumerators) are only ask to handle the transportation of these lawyers.

The case is expected to be filed at Federal High Court Minna, Niger State or FCT, Abuja.

HOW THE PAYMENT REDUCES FROM N300,000 TO MEAGER N60,000 YET UNABLE TO PAY

Unconfirmed source hints Kebbi -Trust that each of these engaged enumerators should go home with more than N300,000 after the exercise.

IMPLICATIONS:

If care is not be taking, this case can draw the attention of EFCC and ICPC to investigate all the CONSULTANTCY FIRMS engaged by the ministry, and if this happen many dirty deals will be unveiled.

Thus, YUBADO, JB Singhai and all other stakeholders in this matter are advise to be mature enough and pay these youths their money without going to court or any anti-corruption Agencies.
