Part 1: THE NEW CAPITAL CITY, BIRNIN KEBBI

It is no more a news that Kebbi State capital, Birnin Kebbi is taking a new shape, transforming into a modern city following Governor Idris approval of roads reconstruction and rehabilitation contract worth N9 Billion in the fast few months.
This roads rehabilitation contract  is going on accordingly and normally, against the fakes news mongers deceiving those living outside Birnin Kebbi that the project was abandoned supporting their lies with edited pictures.
Any one living in the State Capital or visit the State capital, Birnin Kebbi must attest to the facts that the project is going on satisfactorily.
The company executing the project told this medium that their style of insisting on quality work from one point before move to the next point make ignorance of the road work to interpret it as slow or abandoned, but nothing of that nature and promise to complete the work on or even before the scheduled time.
NO COMPROMISE ON QUALITY WORK AS HIS EXCELLENCY VISIT THE WORK SITE HIMSELF

Against the style of other Governors after awarded the contract to only revisit such work for commissioning regardless of the quality of the work, Gov. Idris took a different style for the interest of Kebbi people by visiting the site himself.
Despite his tight schedule he created time to visit the work site purposely to ensure quality work inline with terms of reference of the contractual agreement.
So far, Gov. Idris express satisfaction, but warn the contractors that he will keep monitoring the work himself to the logical conclusion and at any point he observe breach of contract he will not hesitate to take a decisive action.

Now it is obvious that the roads projects in the State Capital Birnin Kebbi is going on accordingly, nothing abandoned or delayed.
In part 2 of this special edition next week, Kebbi-Trust will glimpse into the ongoing work at the new Secretariat and update the good people of Kebbi State our finding ; watch out.
