YAURI BOAT MISHAP: FMR AGF MALAMI VISITS EMIR OF YAURI,CONDOLES FAMILIES OF DECEASED, PRESENTS FOOD AND CASH DONATION

The Founder of khadimiyya For Justice and Development Initiative, who is also the immediate past Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Dr. Abubakar Malami SAN, Dokajin Yauri has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Yauri and the families of those affected by the recent boat mishap in Yauri Emirate describing the sad event as devastating.

Dr. Malami who was at the palace of the Emir of Yauri on a condolence visit over the tragedy said he was shocked when he received the news of the unfortunate incident even as he prayed almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and give the survivors a speedy recovery.

He also stressed the need for the relevant authorities and other stakeholders to urgently take precautionary measures against the frequent boat mishaps in some parts of the State. 

Dr. Malami who is the traditional titleholder of Dokajin Yauri, donated bags of rice and cash for distribution to each of the affected families on behalf of the Khadimiyya For Justice and Development Initiative.

Responding the Emir of Yauri Dr. Muhammad Zaiyanu Abdullahi expressed his appreciation over the visit by the former Minister, describing the kind gesture very exceptional. 

The Monarch noted that Dr. Malami has been identifying with the people of the Emirate, especially the role he played in the establishment of Hydroelectric Power Producing Area Development Commission (HYPADEC ).

The Emir said HYPADEC has been assisting the riverine areas in addressing the issues of boat mishap.

He also acknowledged the efforts of the Kebbi State Government under the leadership of Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu in that direction.

Dr. Zaiyanu Abdullahi said the people of yauri Emirate will forever remain indebted to the kind gestures of Dr. Abubakar Malami SAN hence the decision to confer on him the exalted traditional tittle of Dokajin Yauri.

Dokajin Yauri was accompanied on the visit by Hon Member kebbi State House of Assembly representing Suru Constituency Hon Faruku Maisudan, Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor Alh Muhammad Bello Nasarawa,P A Nafiu Yakubu Lugga, Manager Kadi Malami Foundation Alh Yahaya Koko, Khadimiyya Publicity Secretary Ibrahim Jombali , MD Azbir Barr Abdulaziz Abubakar Malami and KDI Assistant Admin Secretary Surajo Kasimu Argungu.

Others includes Zonal Vice Chairman of APC Alh Garba Bakanike, KDI Zonal Coordinator Alh Musa Dantata, State Coordinator CYD Abubakar Sudan, Alh Yusuf Bingi and khadimiyya and Kadi Malami Foundation officials among others.
