FCC Committee Engages NAMA on Operations, Workforce Distribution and Federal Character Compliance

The Federal Character Commission (FCC) Committee on Works, Transport and Aviation today held an interactive session with the management of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA). @⁨Unknown user⁩ 

The Committee, chaired by Hon. Peter Eze and commissioner representing Enugu state received the NAMA delegation led by its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Umar Ahmed Farouk.

The interactive session focused on matters relating to the Agency’s operations, workforce distribution, compliance with the Federal Character Principle, and other issues of mutual interest aimed at promoting efficiency, inclusiveness, and equitable representation within the aviation sector.

Other members of the Committee present at the session included the Vice Chairman of the Committee and Member representing Nasarawa State, Hon. Halima Ahmadu Jabiru; Member representing Osun State, Hon. Eludayo Eluyemi; Member representing Edo State, Rt. Hon Engr Victor Sabor Edoror; Member representing Borno State, Hon. Engr Modu Mustapha; and Member representing Zamfara State, Hon. Sani General Garba.

The engagement provided a platform for constructive dialogue between the Committee and the Agency, reinforcing the Commission’s commitment to promoting fairness, equity, national unity, and adherence to the Federal Character Principle across public institutions.
