Cheers and Applause: NAMA Staff Give Grand Welcome to Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar in Maiduguri
Yesterday, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, FNSE, FCIA, MCOREN, NPOM (Danmajen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi), Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), arrived at Maiduguri International Airport to a warm and rousing welcome from NAMA staff.
Moments after his arrival, the atmosphere came alive with joy, cheers, and genuine excitement as staff gathered to catch a glimpse of their Chief Executive and warmly welcome him. Among those present was the General Manager of Procurement, Mr. Tijjani, alongside other dedicated members of staff stationed at the airport.
In their remarks, the staff expressed deep appreciation for his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to transforming NAMA. They particularly highlighted his dedication to staff welfare, describing his stewardship as impactful, inclusive, and deeply inspiring.
Responding with heartfelt gratitude, Engr. Farouk thanked the staff for the warm show of affection and goodwill. His visit to Maiduguri also coincides with his attendance as a distinguished guest at the wedding ceremony of the children of Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, scheduled to take place at the revered palace of the Shehu of Borno.
