Dan'majen Gwandu Donates N10million to Kaura Support Group

Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar (Danmajen Gwandu / Gamjin Kabi) and his wife, Hajiya Samira Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), have donated ₦10 million to support the Kauran Gwandu Youth Support Organization (KGYSO).

The Kauran Gwandu Youth Support Organization (KGYSO) organized an empowerment event for 500 beneficiaries in Zauro town. The programme was coordinated by Alh. Usman Sani Zauro (Jagaban KGYSO), Cigarin Zauro, and San Turakin Kalgo. The event attracted prominent guests and dignitaries from across Kebbi State, including the First Lady, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu); the wife of the Speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly; Alh. Umar Idris Buro, brother to His Excellency; Anas Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), son of His Excellency; as well as several commissioners.

Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar (Danmajen Gwandu / Gamjin Kabi) and his wife, Hajiya Samira Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), were represented by Hon. Umar Danfari Suru and his entourage. In his remarks, he commended the organizers, noting that the gesture reflects the strong values and commitment of His Excellency’s family, who remain dedicated to giving back to their community. He further explained that the initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of H.E. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), aimed at uplifting and empowering the people.

He encouraged the youths to emulate the exemplary leadership of Alh. Usman Sani Zauro (Jagaban KGYSO), Cigarin Zauro, and San Turakin Kalgo, who have continued to champion the activities and mission of KGYSO.

He reiterated that Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar (Danmajen Gwandu / Gamjin Kabi) and his wife, Hajiya Samira Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), deeply appreciate the impactful work of KGYSO. Engr. Farouk donated ₦5 million, while his wife contributed an additional ₦5 million, bringing their total support to ₦10 million.
