Rescue of Maga Schoolgirls: KEBBI FORMER FEDERAL LAWMAKERS FORUM COMMENDS GOV. IDRIS

On behalf of Kebbi State's former federal lawmakers forum, under my leadership hereby commended Kebbi state Governor, His Excellency Dr. Nasir Idris for his efforts in securing the safe return of the 24 schoolgirls kidnapped from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area. 

The governor's proactive intervention, which included collaborating with security agencies and federal authorities, led to the girls' rescue after eight days in captivity is commendable. 

The rescue operation was a significant relief to the community, and the governor's decision to travel to Maga to comfort the affected families was seen as a strong show of leadership. 

The Forum also hereby expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, security agencies, and individuals who contributed to the successful rescue mission. 

The forum pray to Almighty Allah to bring an end to this emerging security threats and beg the authority concern to enhanced security measures to prevent future attacks.
