Danmajen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi Visits the Prophet’s Tomb, Offers Deep Spiritual Supplications Inside the Sacred Rawdah

As part of his spiritual journey during the ongoing pilgrimage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Danmajen Gwandu, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, paid a profoundly significant visit to the Prophet’s Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi) in Madinah. During this visit, he was blessed with the rare opportunity to pray inside the Rawdah, one of the most sacred and revered spaces in Islam.

The Rawdah, located between the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) tomb and his noble pulpit, is universally regarded by Muslims as a “Garden from the Gardens of Paradise.” It is a place where heartfelt supplications are believed to receive special divine acceptance. Being granted access to pray within this blessed space reflects not only devotion, but also a deep sense of humility and gratitude to Almighty Allah.

While inside the Rawdah, Engr. Farouk offered extensive prayers for Nigeria, reflecting his unwavering commitment to the nation and his concern for the challenges confronting its people. With a heavy heart and sincere faith, he prayed for the safe and swift return of all kidnapped individuals across the country—especially the innocent schoolchildren abducted in recent attacks in the North-West region. He expressed that no parent or community should have to endure such pain, and he lifted the plight of these families before Allah with deep compassion.

Engr. Farouk also devoted part of his supplications to the nation’s leadership, praying for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Governor of Kebbi State, Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu). He asked Allah to grant them wisdom, strength, guidance, and the moral courage required to address Nigeria’s pressing security issues, improve governance, and fulfill the promises made to the citizens. He reaffirmed his belief that with sincere leadership, divine guidance, and the collective prayers of Nigerians, the country can overcome insecurity and move toward lasting stability.

Reflecting on his experience, Engr. Farouk described praying in the Rawdah as deeply moving and spiritually uplifting—a moment that allowed him to renew his personal dedication to peace, harmony, and service to humanity. He emphasized that Nigeria is a nation blessed by God, and with unity, prayer, and purposeful leadership, its current challenges can be transformed into opportunities for renewal.
