Staff of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) erupted in jubilation on Tuesday following the successful implementation of the new minimum wage under the leadership of the Managing Director, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, FNSE, MCOREN, NPOM (Danmajen Gwandu / Gamjin Kabi).

The atmosphere at the airport was charged with excitement as staff members, filled with joy and gratitude, danced and sang songs of appreciation. Although currently in Saudi Arabia performing the holy pilgrimage of Umrah, Engr. Workers across all stations described him as a leader who listens, understands, and acts with sincerity of purpose, noting that his leadership has redefined the culture of service and accountability in the agency.
