BUILDING PATHWAYS: Nigeria Delegation for  Nigeria for Women Project Attends conference in Uganda Republic

 Nigeria Delegation for  Nigeria for Women Project (NFWP) Scale-Up (SU) attended a conference titled;  'BUILDING PATHWAYS,  Formal Financial Inclusion for savings Group Members', in republic of Uganda.

Among the participants were Kebbi State Project Coordinator of the project, Alhaji Yakubu Muhammad Yauri (Shettiman Ubandoman Yauri).

The NFWP has already shown impressive gains in pilot states, including a 30% increase in household income and over 40% reduction in reliance on informal lending.

32 states have signed on to the NFWP Scale-Up, demonstrating widespread political buy-in and a unified vision for inclusive national development

The project seeks to improve access to credit, markets, and financial literacy for women, addressing the region's high financial exclusion rate.
