Danmajen Gwandu Brings Back Light to Gwandu Communities, Supporting Tinubu and Kauran Gwandu’s Vision
The people of Kambaza, Cheberu, and Gandaturbe in Gwandu Local Government Area can finally look forward to electricity again after more than 100 days in darkness. This comes after the intervention of Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk FNSE, MCOREN, NPOM (Danmajen Gwandu / Gamjin Kabi), who stepped in to fix long-standing problems with transformers and cables.

For months, families, businesses, and students in these communities struggled without power. Daily life was made harder, and many residents lost hope of seeing light soon. Engr. Farouk’s action has now restored that hope and brought joy back to the people.

Speaking on the gesture, Engr. Farouk explained that his effort is not only about helping his community but also about supporting the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and Governor Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu). Both leaders, he noted, are strongly committed to bringing development to every part of the country, especially Kebbi State.

Community members could not hide their happiness. They offered prayers of thanks and praised Danmajen Gwandu for standing by them during their time of need. They also called on President Tinubu and Governor Idris to continue encouraging leaders like him—leaders who stay close to the people, understand their struggles, and are ready to act.

Residents described Engr. Farouk as the kind of leader who deserves to be in the corridors of government: a leader with passion for his people, a heart for service, and a clear commitment to giving back to his community.
They prayed for Allah’s protection, guidance, and greater heights for him, saying his actions reflect the true spirit of leadership that both President Tinubu and Governor Idris continue to promote.
