Gov. Idris Approves Constructions of 300 kilometers of Rural Roads Across The State

In his effort to rebuild Kebbi State both the state capital Birnin Kebbi and all nooks and crannies of the 21 local governments, the State Executive Governor,His Excellency Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu has graciously approved the construction of 300 length kilometers of rural roads across the state.

Governor Nasir Idris affirmed this at the flag off of 6.5 kilometres Malisa - Kurya - Maruda rural road in Gwandu local Government Area.

According to the reliable source this decision is in consonance with the rural transformation agenda of his administration to make life more meaningful to people at the grassroots. 

Gov. Idris said 300 kilometres of rural roads across the state have been identified for construction, upgrade, scope improvement and maintenance , in the first phase of the rural transformation agenda. 

"We are committed to ensuring that rural communities are not left behind, agriculture and other social services will continue to receive our attention"  Gov. Idris assured.

The road project is under the auspices of the Kebbi State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project, RAAMP.

Many people interviewed by Kebbi-Trust expressed their appreciation and satisfaction with leadership style of Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and prayed to Almighty Allah to give him more guidance and courage to continue with this good work he is doing.
