Gov. Idris Approves Disbursement of Fertilizer Free of Charge to 48,000 Farmers State Wide

In a sharp contrast with his predecessors and colleagues whom subsidized the price of fertilizer to their farmers, the executive Governor of Kebbi State, Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) ordered the distribution of fertilizer free of charge to identified 48,000 farmers state wide.

Governor Nasir Idris maintained  his pledge to continue to give farmers in the state fertiliser free.

In his usual style of speaking with full confidence, Gov. Idris said  "In other states, the fertiliser is either sold or subsidised to farmers, but I will never sell the commodity to farmers, I will give them fertilizer free in Kebbi State. 

' I will distribute the resources of Kebbi State judiciously and evenly"  he assured. 

This is the second time in one year, Gov. Idris distributing fertilizers worth billions of Naira to state farmers free of charge.
