Kebbi Governor's  Wife Zainab Empowers Women  At the Grass Roots.

As part of the activities lined up to Mark  this year International Women's Day Celebration, with the Theme : " Invest in Women :  Accelerate Progress"

 The first lady of Kebbi State and  Founder NASARA FOUNDATION  has empower women at the grass roots urging beneficiaries to engage in self economic venture in other to be self reliance.

The wife of the Kebbi  Governor Hajia Zainab Nasare Nasir stated this when disburseing fund to empower women in Yeldu Town Arewa local government area of the state.

While emphasising on the need for women to invest the money given to them into their business  in other to assist there family  during this period.

She  assured that More policies and programs have been designed to cater for women and Youth by the present administration of her Husband Dr Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu).

Speaking on The significance of The  International Women’s Day Celebration the wife of the governor Said its not just a day to sing and   dance on the street, but it also lies on the ability to provides a platform for collective action and collaboration in advocating for women’s rights and empowerment,  also enable women’s economic stability  go a long way toward achieving equality efforts. She said.

In his remarks the sole administrator of the area Alhaji Sani Aliyu Kulita  thanks the wife of the governor for the kind guesture to his people discribing it as huge he therefore pray for the successful tenure of the present administration.

Meanwhile over  5500 women beneficiaries receive 30 thausand Naira each .
