GOV. IDRIS PROMISES TO REVIVE AND EQUIP FAMOUS MULTI-MILLION NAIRA BAHA SKILLS ACQUISITION CENTER IN YAURI

The Executive Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency Dr. Nasir Idris (Gamjin Yauri) promised to provide all necessary support to famous Baha Skills Acquisition Center, Yauri for massive empowerment of women and Youth in Yauri Emirate.

The Governor made the pledge in Yauri on Saturday 27/01/2024 at flag off campaign for bye-election for the seat of House of Representatives, representing Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski Federal Constituency scheduled for 3rd February,2024.

Baha Skills Acquisition Center was established by Hon. Halima Hassan Tukur Yauri when she served as member Federal House of Representatives, representing Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski Federal Constituency and hundreds of youths and women were empowered via the center.

The center specialized in training of women and Youths in different skills such as rice and groundnut processing, fish drying, Tailoring, Leather work,Make up, Foot wear, Cosmetology,Bit making, snacks, carpentry among others.

Recently, the center introduced new skills such as Photography, POP and Tiles fixing, Driving, Bread making, wood work and sachet water production etc.

GAMJI ASKED HON.HALIMA TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL

Kebbi-Trust learnt that His Excellency Dr. Nasir Idris (Garkuwan Zuru) already gave a marching order to the founder and Chief Executive officer of the Baha Skills Acquisition Center, Hon. Halima Hassan Tukur Yauri to submit a proposal for the required equipment and logistics.

HON. HALIMA COMPLY WITH HIS EXCELLENCY DIRECTIVES

Reliable source confirmed to Kebbi-Trust that Hon. Halima has already submitted such proposal to the appropriate channel.

Speaking during the flags off campaign, Gov. Idris promise to attend in person the official reactivation of Baha Skills Acquisition Center, Yauri any moment.

PROMISE TO FARMERS

Governor Idris also used the occasion and promised to provide farmers in Yauri Emirate with solar and gas pumping mechines as well as free petroleum to enhance the farming activities especially dry season farming. 

He  promised to continue to support the Emirate in all sectors of human development.

APPRECIATION TO EMIRS

Gov. Idris also seized the opportunity to thank all the four (4) Emirs in the State for finding worthy and conferred on him the traditional title of their respective emirate.

He thanked Emir of Gwandu for conferred on him the traditional title of KAURAN GWANDU.

He also thanked the Emirs Zuru and Yauri for conferred on him the traditional title of GARKUWAN ZURU and GAMJIN YAURI respectively.

He confirmed the reception of letter for conferment of traditional title from Emir of Argungu.

Gov. Idris finally called on all good people of Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski to come out en masse and vote for APC candidate for the bye election; Hon. Garba Umar Uba (Bullet).

The rally was attended by many important personalities within and outside Yauri Emirate, they include former Governor Sa'idu Usman Nasamu Dakingari, former Governor Atiku Bagudu, former Deputy Governor, Sama'ila Dabai Yombe, SSG Yakubu Bala (Tafidan Yauri), APC Chief strategist Abubakar Gari Malam; Hon. Commissioner,Kebbi State Ministry of Local Government, Alhaji Umar Dutsin Mari; MD HYPPADEC, Sadiq Katikan Yauri,Hon. Halima Hassan Tukur Yauri, among others top politicians and Government officials.
