Education Stakeholders Reaffirms Support for Kauran Gwandu's 2nd Term

Forum of Former NUT Officials, Principals, Education Secretaries, and Directors of Education Reaffirms Total Support for Governor Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu)

The Forum of Former NUT Officials, Principals, Education Secretaries, and Directors of Education in Kebbi State has reiterated its unwavering loyalty and continued support for the administration of His Excellency, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), Executive Governor of Kebbi State.

The meeting, held at the KECHEMA Conference Hall in Birnin Kebbi, was chaired by Alhaji Abubakar Bala Gado Kamba (Danmasanin Kyanga), Chairman of the Forum and Special Adviser to KECHEMA. It brought together key stakeholders in the education sector, including 21 Local Government Area Coordinators, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Home Affairs and Internal Security, Alhaji Isah Umar Gwandu, the Acting Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Kebbi State Wing, and Special Advisers (SAs) and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) appointed by the Governor from among members of the education community.

In his address, Alh. Abubakar Bala Gado Kamba commended Governor Nasir Idris for his grassroots-driven leadership style and inclusive governance. He proudly noted that:

> “In all the 21 Local Government Areas and 225 political wards of Kebbi State, no single ward or LGA is left without a political appointment from the Governor. This is a clear demonstration of equity, inclusion, and the Governor's deep appreciation for the education sector.”

The Chairman emphasized the Governor’s historic connection with the NUT and education system, noting that his tenure is marked by strategic appointments, infrastructural improvements, and deliberate empowerment of education professionals.

Speakers at the meeting, drawn from various arms of the forum, praised the transformational impact of the Kauran Gwandu administration and pledged their total commitment to its success. The Forum resolved to continue serving as a strong voice and mobilization structure in support of the Governor’s programs and policies, especially in the buildup to future political milestones.

The session concluded with special prayers for the Governor’s continued success, the stability of the state, and the upliftment of the education sector in Kebbi State.
