Prestigious School Honors Dan'majen Gwandu

*Engr. Ahmad Umar Farouk Honored at GMISS Sixth Graduation Ceremony, Donates ₦1 Million*
Gwandu, Kebbi State – The Gwandu Model Islamic and Science Schools (GMISS) celebrated the graduation of its sixth cohort of students with a colorful ceremony that highlighted the institution’s commitment to educational excellence.

During the event, Engr. Ahmad Umar Farouk, Managing Director of NAMA and the Danmajen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi, was honored with a special award of recognition for his outstanding contributions to the growth and development of Gwandu Local Government Area.

Represented by his aide, Buhari Muhammad Danshallah, Engr. Farouk made a generous donation of ₦1 million to support the school’s operations and ongoing initiatives aimed at promoting quality education in the region.
Speaking on behalf of the honoree, Buhari Muhammad Danshallah expressed gratitude to the school management and reiterated Engr. Farouk’s commitment to fostering educational advancement in Gwandu. He also offered prayers for the establishment of more institutions like GMISS, which continue to serve as pillars of knowledge and community development.

The event, held on Sunday, 27th July 2025, drew dignitaries, parents, and community leaders who commended GMISS for its role in shaping future leaders through a blend of Islamic and scientific education.
