BREAKING NEWS: Tinubu To Establish New University in Kamba

Kamba town, the headquarters of Dandi local government in Kebbi State set to join league of Federal Universities host communities in Nigeria.

This development was revealed in a Senate Order Paper dated Wednesday 9th July, 2025.

Items 4 of the Business of day presentation of bills sighted by Kebbi-Trust Online newspaper reads;

"FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION, KAMBA, KEBBI STATE (ESTABLISHMENT) BILL, 2025 (SB 88) First Reading"

The bill was sponsored by the best Senator in Nigeria, Senator DR. ABDULLAHI YAHAYA ABUBAKAR ARGUNGU representing good people of Kebbi North Senatorial District.

Kebbi North comprised 6 local governments areas which include; Argungu, Dandi (Kamba), Augie, Arewa(Kangiwa), Suru and Bagudu local governments councils.

If this bill sails through, Kebbi State will be boasted of 3 Federal Universities; Federal University, Birnin Kebbi established by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2010; Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru established by President Muhammad Buhari in 2021 and now to be established Federal University of Technical Education, Kamba by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu In Sha Allah
