PIONEER PRO-CHANCELLOR RAYHAM UNIVERSITY ABUBAKAR MALAMI SAN MEETS STUDENTS AS THE FIRST PRIVATE UNIVERSITY IN KEBBI STATE COMMENCES ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES. 

The Premier Private University in Kebbi State Rayhan University has today 30th September, 2024 commences academic activities with an interactive session with the pioneer students.

Speaking during the interactive session the Pro-Chancellor and Proprietor of the University Dr Abubakar Malami SAN, the Former Minister of Justice expressed his happiness for the commencement of  academic activities by the University which he describes as a remarkable journey which marks a historic milestone for the State and country at large.

Dr Malami SAN, said the University has just opened it gates for learning and skills development saying that the university is determined to provide quality education that can guarantee every student to graduate with excellent skills, knowledge and character.

Kulliyan Gwandu who described the milestone as a momentous occasion, a beacon of hope for a brighter future also said, the Institution has provided  good facilities that will support learning and teaching that are geared towards making the University a conducive environment for learning.

He further said that Rayhan Premier University is committed to revolutionize education, bridge the gap and empower the leaders of tomorrow.

Dr Malami who is Founder of Khadimiyya For Justice and Development Initiative acknowledged that the Foundation is the sole promoter of Rayhan University Birnin Kebbi describing the Foundation as a noble and prestigious community development oriented Initiative.

The Pro Chancellor highlighted that the University offers the following commitments to includes Quality Education, State of the art infrastructure, Industry connections and community focus amongst others.

Earlier Speaking the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof M L Ahmad said Rayhan University is a symbol of hope, a testament to collective potentials that is built on the vision of providing world class education that prepares students for success in an ever changing world.

Prof ML Ahmad states that the University is determined to vigorously pursue standards for excellence, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, creativity and social responsibility.

He said the University is commencing its academic activities with eleven courses of studies that are inclined to global standards.

Speaking the National Coordinator of Khadimiyya For Justice and Development Initiative Alh Malami Abdulkadir Maajin Gwandu said the Khadimiyya Foundation as the sole sponsor and promoter of Rayhan University will continue to support and strengthen the institution so as to become one of the emerging global competitive institutions which was built on constructive pillars of knowledge.

Represented by the National Secretary, the National Coordinator commended the Proprietor and Founder of Khadimiyya Dr Abubakar Malami SAN for always giving back to the society  handsomely and his passion for helping less privileged in the society and providing all the necessary resources and support to the University.

In their separate remarks the Council Members of the Institution Malam Isyaku Abdullahi Easy and Barrister Nafiu Yakubu Lugga while commending Dr Abubakar Malami SAN for championing the establishment of first private university in the State with the best facilities oexpressed their gratitude for the take off of the University.

Highlights of the interaction session includes brief Tour of Classes, Library, Clinic and Students Support Services center amongst others.
