KEBBI FIRST LADY, ZAINAB EMPOWERS HUNDREDS OF  CHRISTIAN WIDOWS  IN RIBAH, WITH OVER TEN MILLION NAIRA.

Kebbi State First Lady, Hajia Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, has disbursed more than N10 million to about 900  Christian widows  in Sakaba and  Danko-Wasagu local government areas of the state.  The widow's support program carried out by the NASARA FOUNDATION was held at the  United Missionary Church of Africa  UMCA Machika.

Hajiya Zainab Nasare, represented by Special Adviser on Women Affairs to the Governor,  Hajia Fatima Sani Udu, said the gesture was a clear testimony that the resources of Kebbi State belonged to all indigenes of the State irrespective of  religious inclination. 

The Kebbi First  Lady added that such assistance was a continuous process in furtherance of the fulfilment of the campaign promises of her husband to help  the people in all nooks and crannies of Kebbi State without recourse to sentiment. 

In his remarks , the  State coordinator NASARA FOUNDATION  Abdulrasheed Bala said a  total sum of N8.3million was shared among 830 christian widows  in the area while the organizers of the programme benefited with N2 million as equal empowerment.  The coordinator also reveal that  apart from this guesture, arrangements is on top gear  to ensure the widows are train on versions skills by the   FOUNDATION  in other for them to be  self reliance.
