Haj. Aisha Bello Ka'oje Commends President's wife

Haj. Aisha Bello Ka'oje commend the first lady of Nigeria's initiative to support women.

As part of his effort to boost food production in Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has Kick-started the renewed hope initiative women Agricultural support programme under the supervision of his Wife; Sen. Oluremi Tinubu.

The initiative is aimed at empowering women  in agriculture to enhance food security.

At the inauguration of the programme for  North-West zone in Kebbi State, the first lady of Nigeria who was ably represented by the Wife of the Speaker of the National Assembly Haj. Fatima Abbas Tajudeen underscored the imperative of the empowerment programme. 

She stated that, women have a significant role to play in feeding the Nation. The programme according to her, will help women partake in nation building and provide them the wherewithal to become self reliant through agriculture.

The programme which was hosted in Birnin Kebbi saw in attendance the wives of the governors of the seven states in North West zone. 

The first ladies of the respected states received the empowerment items provided for their states. 

In her remark, Haj. Aisha Bello Ka'oje, founder of Aisha Bello Ka'oje Cares foundation and wife of member representing Suru/Bagudo federal constituency eulogized the Wife of the Speaker of the National Assembly for her commitment and dedication in this women empowerment programme, she stated that the benefits of the programme to women are enormous.  

Haj. Aisha Bello Ka'oje unbehalf of her foundation, presented a gift to the wife of the Rt Speaker in recognition of her unwavering support and advocacy for women empowerment.

Haj. Aisha Bello Ka'oje equally assured the wife of the  speaker that, effort will be put in place to ensure the beneficiaries of the programme maximally utilize the materials and gadgets they received in line with the objective of the programme.

The programme was honored by respected dignitaries including; Kebbi State Governor Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, First lady of Nigeria rep by Wife of Rt Speaker National Assembly Haj. Fatima Abbas Tajudeen, Wife of Kebbi State Governor, H.E Zainab Nasir Idris, Wife of Katsina State Governor, Wife of Zamfara State Governor, Wife of Sokoto State Governor, Wife of Kano State Governor, Wife of Kaduna State Governor, Wife Of Honourable Member Representing Bagudo, Suru federal constituency, Haj Aisha Bello Ka'oje, Wife of Honourable Member Representing Owan Federal Constituency of Edo State, Mrs.Grace Ihonvbere, Wife of the Honorable Member Representing Buruku federal constituency Benue State, Mrs. Stella Iyortyom, Wife of Honourable Member Representing Adevi, Okehi federal constituency of Kogi State, Haj.
