Governor's wife urges Muslims to seek for knowledge

Kebbi Governor's Wife Advises Muslims to intensify Pursuit of Knowledge.

The wife of Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris has emphasised the necessity on Muslims to intensify the search for knowledge in all fields with emphasis on religious education.

Hajiya Zainab Nasare was speaking  at the  Quranic graduation of  36 married 

Women In Daawa Multipurpose cooperative Association at  Maurida Community  in Kebbi State.

She requested well-to-do Muslims to institute educational programmes and establish schools to impart knowledge to both children and adults in the quest for a decent society and beneficial livelihood.

The governor's wife affirmed commitment to sustain her support to the  Islamic school, to continue with activities in the training of married woman as well as children to memorise the Glorious Qur'an and the study of other aspects of Islam.

She announced that the graduands have been taught  verious skill acquisition that would make it possible to use the startup packs  given to them  as gifts  for a profitable venture. 

In addition the wife of the governor equally presented a He and a She  goats to each of the graduands  for rearing in other to be self reliance.

Hajiya Zainab there for solicited for fervent prayers from the people for the success of the administration of her husband, Governor Nasir Idris .

In an address, the  (Amira)  of  Women in Daawa, Hajiya Yuhanazu Abubakar Nasarawa   thanked the wife of the governor for providing necessary requirements to the Women in Daawa that enabled it to function effectively.

She described Hajiya Zainab Nasare as highly religiously inclined personality with compassion and benevolence, adding that the governor's wife has been acknowledged as a free giver who distributes gifts at will especially during the month of Ramadan.

The Commissioner for education,wife of the Secretary To The state governor, hajia Asmau Alkali, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs,  Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on women affairs ,  wives of  Commissioners , SSAs, were among personalities at the graduation ceremony.
