History Made: Kebbi Youths Gets Parliament 

HON. COMMISSIONER OF YOUTHS AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT COMRADE NURA BALA FINGILLER ONCE AGAIN BREAKS A RECORD, CONSTITUTES YOUTHS PARLIAMENT FIRST OF ITS KIND IN KEBBI STATE HISTORY

The Honourable Commissioner of Youths And Sports Development Comrade Nura Bala Fingiller fullfil one of his major covenant with Kebbi State Youths by establishing an official forum for them to meet, discuss and come out with way forward for their betterment.

Recall, less than 24 hours after his inauguration as Commissioner of Youths, Comrade Fingiller released official blue print title 'MY COVENANT WITH KEBBI YOUTHS ' were he highlighted his Programme towards youth development in Kebbi State; Youths Parliament for the first time in Kebbi State is one of such covenant.

Hon.Commissioner Exclusively told Kebbi-Trust that he was motivated by His Excellency on this success story.

He enjoyed Kebbi State Youths to thank the Almighty Allah for having a Youths friendly Governor who doesn't waste time in approving anything has to do with youths interest.

He thank the Governor for squeezing his tide schedule to associate himself with Kebbi State Youths by attending the event personally and in youths attires.

THE NATURE, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF KEBBI STATE YOUTH PARLIAMENT

The inaugurated Kebbi State Youth Parliament has same structure with State House of Assembly consisting of Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Chief Whip etc.

They also use same state House of Assembly chamber when conducting their activities.

Such activities has no limitations, include social life, sporting activities, commercial and entrepreneurship issues, drugs abuse among others.

Anything they decided will be forward to Kebbi State Ministry of Youths, and the commissioner of Youths will take necessary action and forward same to Chairman Kebbi State House of Assembly Committee on Youths for official legislative and then forward to His Excellency for ascent into law.

They sit after every 2 months; 6 sitting in a year.

Many states in Nigeria uses this system for long time but this is the first time Kebbi State Youths is having this golden opportunity, courtesy of progressive, hardworking and talented Hon. Commissioner of Youths And Sports Development, Comrade Nura Bala Fingiller.
