The findings by Kebbitrust online newspaper revealed four (4) reasons why former Governor Atiku Bagudu's name was omitted from the ministerial list sent to the Senate for confirmation on Thursday 27/07/2023.
A credible source revealed to kebbitrust that former Governor Atiku Bagudu was unable to make it to the first batch list on the following grounds:
1- As earlier reported by Kebbitrust, that if DSS does its job honestly, former Governor Bagudu will not see the light of the day, has come to pass; it was alledged that the DSS report raises issues on H.E Bagudu.
2- Second reason as reported by Daily-Trust newspaper is that President Tinubu is looking for strong personalities in all the 36 States of the Federation who can deliver their states with ease in case of any eventuality; re-run or 2027 general election, and Tinubu realized that Atiku Bagudu is lacking on such capacity as he was unable to clinch for a senatorial seat despite the mechanism at his disposal in 2023 election let alone the whole state. Therefore, Tinubu is weighing numerous options in Kebbi State.
3- Another reason as revealed to Kebbitrust is that many major and minor Kebbi APC stakeholders are against the nomination of H.E Bagudu on the ground that as a Governor of Kebbi State between 2015 and 2023 only his boys enjoyed the government patronage and left behind no single legacy project through out his 8 years tenure, these aggrieved stakeholders opportune to access President Tinubu and table their grievances to him and the president was shocked with this denting revelation against Bagudu.
4- Many major stakeholders are pushing for the nomination of former Governor Sa'idu Dakingari, President Tinubu is fully aware of this, but it was reported that Tinubu told them by virtue of former Governor Bagudu as Chairman of APC Governors Forum and Chairman of the convention Commitee where Tinubu emerged as the APC Presidential candidate need to be compensated first before any consideration.

HALIMA YAURI; it is an association of serving and retired National Assembly female members which HALIMA is one of the principal officers of the association and the first lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu is the grand patron of the association.

Analysts are of the view that should President Tinubu ask former President Buhari to nominate one person for a ministerial position, definitely, former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN, CON may bounce back and this will completely change all the narrative and permutations about Kebbi State slot.
As the Senate commence secreening of the first batch list on Monday 31/07/2023; who will represent the land of equity at the Federal Executive Council?; Answer will emerge in the next few days.
