KEBBI PROJECT: The Legacy of Malami

AS GAMJI RETURNS HOME: WHEN WILL KEBBI PEOPLE PAY HIM BACK?

GAMJI is nick name given to a person especially politician who uses whatever opportunity comes his way to shadow many people, the way GAMJI-TREE Shadows whoever takes cover under it.

The first politician to be nicknamed GAMJI was late Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardaunan Sokoto, in recognition of his tremendous contributions to the progress of Northern Nigeria and it's people.

The similar contributions of Former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN, CON to the Kebbi State and its people qualifies him to be nicknamed GAMJI of KEBBI STATE.

BRIEF HIGHLIGHTS OF ABUBAKAR MALAMI'S CONTRIBUTIONS TO KEBBI STATE AND ITS PEOPLE

1- EMPLOYMENT

GAMJI (Dr. Abubakar Malami SAN, CON) facilitated the engagement of more than 800 graduates into different Federal Government Ministries, Department and Agencies. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE

2- EMPOWERMENT

GAMJI facilitated the soft loan ranging from N1million to N10million to more than 500 people. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE

3- FEDERAL PRESENCE

GAMJI ensured that Kebbi State get it fair share of federal government projects such as Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru, Jega-Yauri road, NIRSAL, HYPPADEC, NALDA, NASEMI, etc. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE

4- INVESTMENT IN THE STATE

GAMJI invested massively in the state resulting in engagement of hundreds of people. These include

  i- Rayhaan College

  ii- Rayhaan University

  iii- Rayhaan Rice mills

  iv- Rayhaan Radio/Tv

  v- Azbir Arena

  vi- Azbir Hotel among others. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE

5- SOCIAL AMENITIES

GAMJI drilled more than 300 boreholes across 21 local government areas in the State. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE

6- APPOINTMENT

GAMJI contributed immensely in ensuring that a reasonable number of his State's indigenes get appointment as Heads of many Federal Government MDAs, such as EFCC, HYPPADEC, LAW REFORMS COMMISSION, FEDERAL CHARACTER COMMISSION among others. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE

7- PALLIATIVE

GAMJI distributed hundreds trailers full of rice and assorted grains in an annual bases. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE.

8- RELIEF FUNDS

GAMJI stood for more than 5,000 Kebbians to get different relief funds during the COVID-19 syndrome. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE

9- CARING FOR ORPHANS 

GAMJI took it upon himself to provide food items to orphanage home in Kebbi State on monthly basis till date. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE 

10- INTERVENTION IN ALMAJIRI SCHOOL

GAMJI took it upon himself to make provision of food items to more than 20 Almajiri schools across 21 local government areas in Kebbi State. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE

11- SCHOLARSHIP

This is one of the untold stories of GAMJI ABUBAKAR MALAMI, he assisted many youths to pursue their academic dreams careers, some for PhD, some Masters (MSc); First Degree (BSc), HND, NCE among others. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE.

12- DONATION OF VEHICLEs

GAMJI donated numerous cars and motorcycles to many government agencies, his supporters and other lucky ones. A CHALLENGE TO NEXT MINISTER TO REPRESENT KEBBI STATE.

WHEN WILL KEBBI PEOPLE PAY HIM BACK?

GAMJI Dr. Abubakar Malami SAN, CON has every reason to thank the Almighty ALLAH for giving him ample opportunity and wisdom in utilizing such opportunity to the benefits of his people.

Kebbi State People can only pay back GAMJI In two (2) ways:

   1- Continue to pray for him; Allah's guidance, protection as well as long life and prosperity.

2-Kebbians can also pay him back in case he declares his interest to contest for any political position in the future by supporting and voting for him massively.
