NAMA MD Joins Aviation Minister, Etihad Delegation on Nigeria–UAE Flight Talks
The Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, joined the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, in a high-level meeting with a delegation from Etihad Airways, United Arab Emirates.

Led by Captain Khalid Humaid Al Ali, Senior Vice President, Aeropolitical, International & Government Affairs, the delegation met with key stakeholders including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, the DG of NCAA, the MD of FAAN, and other senior officials.
Discussions centered on strengthening aviation ties and the planned resumption of Etihad Airways’ flights between Nigeria and Abu Dhabi, expected in the first quarter of 2027.

Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar’s participation underscores NAMA’s continued commitment to supporting the Federal Government’s efforts in enhancing international air connectivity and advancing the growth of Nigeria’s aviation sector.
