The Air Transport Quarterly Magazine has formally recognized the Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed (FNSE, MCOREN, NPOM), as the Aviation Man of the Year 2025, in recognition of his exemplary leadership and outstanding contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria’s aviation sector.
Following his return from official engagements in China and Singapore, Engr. Farouk on Monday resumed duties at the NAMA Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, where he was presented with the Air Transport Quarterly Magazine Nomination Certificate for the prestigious award. The presentation coincided with his first official day back at work, marking a symbolic and inspiring start to the new week.
The honour celebrates Engr. Farouk’s notable achievements over the past twelve months, particularly his sustained efforts in strengthening air safety, improving operational efficiency, and advancing the overall performance of Nigeria’s aviation industry.
