Sen. Aleiro, Sen. Maidoki & Sen. Yahaya Commends MD, NAMA

Aliero, Mallawan Kabi, and Maidoki Pay Courtesy Visit to HMA Festus Keyamo, Commend Partnership with NAMA MD Engr. Farouk and Celebrate His National Award

The three distinguished Senators representing Kebbi State paid a heartfelt courtesy visit to Festus Keyamo, Esq., the Hon. Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development. The delegation was led by Sen. Adamu Aliero (Garkuwan Gwandu), Senator for Kebbi Central; Sen. Yahaya Abubakar Abdullahi (Mallawan Kabi), Senator for Kebbi North; and Sen. Garba Musa Maidoki, Senator for Kebbi South.

During the visit, the Senators expressed their appreciation to the Hon. Minister for the productive and forward-looking working relationship he has maintained with the Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar (Danmajen Gwandu / Gamjin Kabi). They noted this synergy has brought renewed energy and stability to the aviation sector, especially in areas affecting the safety and efficiency of Nigeria’s airspace.

Led by H.E. Adamu Aliero—two-term Governor of Kebbi State and respected national leader—the delegation also conveyed gratitude for the recent national honor bestowed upon Engr. Farouk as the Best Chief Executive in the Aviation Industry 2025, marking his second consecutive recognition. They described the award as a testament to his dedication, visionary leadership, and the strong support from the Ministry.

Hon. Minister Festus Keyamo warmly commended the Senators for their visit, acknowledging their unity, humility, and commitment to Kebbi State and Nigeria. He assured them that the Ministry will continue to work closely with Engr. Farouk and the entire NAMA team to strengthen reforms, improve service delivery, and raise aviation standards nationwide.

The Minister reiterated that Engr. Farouk’s award reflects his exemplary performance as MD/CE of NAMA and his significant contributions to the aviation sector. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to fostering such excellence, emphasizing that strong leadership, institutional harmony, and professional dedication are vital to advancing Nigeria’s aviation industry.
