Ex-Justice Minister's Brother Mustapha Malami Visit MD, NAMA Affirms Return to APC

Mustapha Malami Khadi Paid Courtesy Visit to NAMA MD Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, Reaffirms Return to APC and Commends Leadership of Tinubu and Kauran Gwandu

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, FNSE, FCIA, MCOREN, NPOM (Danmajen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi), hosted Junior Brother to the Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mustapha Malami Khadi, at his residence in Kebbi State, for a courtesy visit.

During the visit, Mustapha Malami Khadi expressed his appreciation for the leadership of Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar and explained the reasons behind his decision to return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after previously being with the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He highlighted that his return was influenced by the people-oriented leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the robust democratic development initiatives of Governor Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu in Kebbi State. According to him, the current state of governance and visible developmental strides in the state, including significant investments in education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and youth empowerment programmes, demonstrate that Kebbi State is under effective and transformative leadership.

Mustapha Malami Khadi also noted the consistent support and opportunities the APC provided to his brother, former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami Khadi, who held office from 2015 to 2023. He emphasized that the party had significantly transformed their lives and questioned why they would betray a party that positively impacted their family.

In response, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar commended Mustapha Malami Khadi for his principled decision and reaffirmed his readiness to support any individual or stakeholder genuinely committed to the progressive agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, regardless of their political background. He stressed that the APC remains open to all who share the vision of promoting people-centered governance, unity, and development at all levels.

While acknowledging the courtesy visit, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar expressed optimism that Mustapha Malami Khadi’s return to the APC would further strengthen party cohesion and contribute to the ongoing efforts of advancing the APC’s mandate in Kebbi State and across Nigeria. The visit concluded on a note of mutual respect and shared commitment to supporting the APC-led administration’s goals of peace, development, and inclusive governance.
