The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, has officially opened the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu (TKG) Movement office in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar (Danmajen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi), was established to promote the leadership ideals and developmental agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) within Kebbi State and across the North West region.
While opening the office, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda commended Governor Nasir Idris and Engr. Farouk Ahmed for their steadfast commitment to the vision and mission of the APC. He noted that the TKG initiative is the first of its kind in the North West and a model for other states to emulate, emphasizing that such grassroots movements are vital for strengthening democracy and ensuring continuity of good governance.
In his remarks, Hon. Kabiru Labbo Jega, Chairman of the TKG Movement, appreciated the National Chairman for his presence and leadership. He praised the policies of President Tinubu and assured that the TKG team will continue to mobilize support for the APC across the state. He reaffirmed the group’s readiness to serve as “frontline soldiers” in promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda, through community sensitization, awareness, and political engagement.
Also speaking, the TKG Promoter, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, thanked the APC National Chairman for honoring their invitation and for his continued leadership at the national level. He commended President Tinubu’s unwavering efforts in restoring peace and stability in the North West and North East regions, and for his economic policies which, he said, are beginning to yield positive results.
Engr. Farouk also appreciated the people of Kebbi State for their continuous support for the APC both at the state and national levels. He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the activities of President Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris, assuring the National Chairman that with the caliber of people in the TKG Movement, the APC is well-positioned for victory in 2027, declaring that “there will be no vacancy in Aso Rock or the Kebbi Government House.”
Similarly, Umaru Idris Buro (Jagoran Siyasar Jihar Kebbi) lauded President Tinubu, the APC National Chairman, and Governor Nasir Idris for their quality leadership. He expressed confidence that the party’s mandate would be fully sustained come 2027.
The event drew a large crowd of supporters who welcomed the dignitaries with enthusiasm. Many commended Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar for his unwavering commitment and grassroots mobilization efforts aimed at strengthening the APC across the North West and beyond.
The opening of the TKG Movement office, observers noted, is another sign of the growing unity and renewed strength of the APC both in Kebbi State and across Nigeria.
