The Kebbi State Widows Association (Zawarawa) on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu (TKG) Movement Office in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, where they were warmly received by the Chairman of the Movement, Hon. Kabiru Labbo Jega (Ajiyan Jega), alongside other executive members of the TKG leadership.

The visit was aimed at strengthening partnership with the TKG Movement, showing solidarity with the progressive leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), as well as expressing appreciation for the humanitarian and empowerment initiatives championed by the TKG Movement.

During the visit, the leader of the delegation commended the Founder and Promoter of the TKG Movement, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar (Danmajen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi), for his consistent dedication to uplifting the lives of the less privileged, especially widows and orphans across Kebbi State. She described Engr. Farouk as “a compassionate leader with a genuine heart for service and unity.”

She further noted that the Widows Association had fully endorsed the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), whose policies and programs continue to bring meaningful development to the people of Kebbi State. According to her, the association was ready to work hand-in-hand with the TKG Movement to actualize its mission of promoting inclusiveness, empowerment, and good governance at all levels.

Hon. Kabiru Labbo Jega (Ajiyan Jega), Chairman of the TKG Movement, expressed gratitude for the visit and commended the Widows Association for their courage, unity, and contribution to community development. He described them as “pillars of resilience and strength in society,” adding that their show of solidarity reflected the growing trust in the leadership and vision of the TKG Movement.

He reaffirmed that the TKG Movement remained open to all progressive-minded individuals and groups who shared its ideals of loyalty, service, and unity under the All Progressives Congress (APC). He assured the visiting delegation that TKG would continue to initiate and support programs that uplift widows, empower women, and promote social welfare across Kebbi State.

Hon. Jega emphasized that the Movement’s doors would always remain open to all who believe in the ideals of collective progress, compassion, and service to humanity. He appreciated the association’s commitment and pledged continuous collaboration to advance development and social inclusion in Kebbi State.

The visit ended on a note of mutual respect and renewed commitment to partnership, with both parties expressing optimism that their cooperation would further strengthen social empowerment and political harmony across the state.
