Amateur Soccer Committee Birnin Kebbi Paid Courtesy Visit to TKG Movement Office

The Amateur Soccer Committee, Birnin Kebbi, on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu (TKG) Movement Office in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State. The delegation, led by its Chairman, Abubakar Babban Wando, comprised male representatives from various local football teams and community sports organizations. They were warmly received by the Chairman of the Movement, Hon. Kabiru Labbo Jega (Ajiyan Jega), alongside other executive members of the TKG leadership.

The visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the sports community and the TKG Movement, fostering unity among youths, and showing solidarity with the developmental agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu). It also served as an opportunity to appreciate the Movement’s support for youth empowerment and grassroots engagement in Kebbi State.

During the visit, Abubakar Babban Wando commended the Founder and Promoter of the TKG Movement, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar (Danmajen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi), for his continuous commitment to supporting youth initiatives and promoting development across the state. He described Engr. Farouk as “a true leader and mentor whose vision continues to inspire hope and progress among young people.”

He further stated that the Amateur Soccer Committee had fully endorsed the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), acknowledging their efforts in creating opportunities for youth development and sports growth in Kebbi State. According to him, the Committee was ready to work hand-in-hand with the TKG Movement to advance its mission of empowerment, unity, and good governance.

Hon. Kabiru Labbo Jega (Ajiyan Jega), Chairman of the TKG Movement, expressed appreciation for the visit and praised the Amateur Soccer Committee for their dedication to nurturing young talents and promoting sportsmanship at the grassroots level. He described sports as “a powerful tool for unity, discipline, and community development.”

He reaffirmed that the TKG Movement remained open to all progressive-minded individuals and groups who shared its ideals of service, loyalty, and unity under the All Progressives Congress (APC). He assured the delegation that TKG would continue to support youth-oriented initiatives, promote good governance, and encourage programs that empower young people across Kebbi State.

Hon. Jega further emphasized that the doors of the TKG Movement would always remain open to all who share its vision of progress, teamwork, and service to humanity. He expressed optimism that continued collaboration with youth and sports groups would further strengthen unity and accelerate development across the state.

The visit concluded with mutual appreciation and renewed commitment to partnership, as both parties expressed confidence that their cooperation would enhance youth engagement, community development, and political harmony throughout Kebbi State.
