Former Councillors Pay Courtesy Visit to TKG Founder, Reaffirm Support for the Movement for Continuity
The Founder and Promoter of the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu (TKG) Movement for Continuity, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, FNSE, MCOREN, NPOM (Danmajen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi), on Thursday, received a delegation of former councillors from across Kebbi State, who paid him a courtesy visit at his residence in Birnin Kebbi.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, their leader commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his visionary leadership and dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda, which continues to reposition Nigeria for growth and stability. He also lauded the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for his developmental strides, people-centered governance, and commitment to the welfare of Kebbi citizens.
The delegation further praised Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar and the entire TKG team for their unwavering efforts in mobilizing grassroots support for the APC-led administration, describing the TKG Movement as “a unifying force for progress and continuity.” They assured the Founder of their readiness to work hand in hand with the movement to ensure that the mandates of President Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris are consolidated and extended beyond 2027.
In his response, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar expressed gratitude to the visiting councillors for their show of solidarity and reaffirmed that the TKG Movement remains open to all — irrespective of political affiliation. He emphasized that the movement welcomes even those from the PDP, ADC, and other opposition parties who share the vision of promoting peace, unity, and progress under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu.
Engr. Farouk assured the delegation that TKG will continue to support individuals and groups aligned with the ideals of service, loyalty, and continuity, adding that together, they can sustain the gains of the APC government for the collective benefit of Kebbi State and Nigeria.
He wished the visiting councillors success in their endeavors and urged them to remain steadfast ambassadors of good governance and unity.
