Malami Youth Forum Visits TKG Office, Declares Total Loyalty to APC and Alignment with Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar’s Vision

The Malami Youth Forum, a coalition of young political supporters who previously rallied behind the former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Chika Malami, SAN, has declared its total alignment with the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu (TKG) Movement after paying a courtesy visit to the Movement’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

The group, consisting of committed youths and political mobilizers from across the 21 local government areas of Kebbi State, was warmly received by the Chairman of the TKG Movement, Hon. Kabiru Labbo Jega (Ajiyan Jega), along with other members of the leadership team, on behalf of the Founder and Promoter, Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar (Danmajen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi).

Speaking during the visit, the leader of the Malami Youth Forum explained that although they had previously supported Malami during his time in the All Progressives Congress (APC), they chose to remain in the APC even after he defected to the ADC. He said their decision was based on conviction and loyalty to the progressive ideals of the party, as well as their confidence in the dynamic leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu). He further stated that the Forum had seen the developmental transformation being driven by both leaders at the national and state levels, which has rekindled hope among Nigerians and renewed their faith in the APC as a vehicle for sustainable development.

The leader of the delegation added that the Forum’s decision to align with the TKG Movement was influenced by Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar’s remarkable leadership qualities and humanitarian disposition. According to him, Engr. Farouk’s consistent efforts in empowering the youth, supporting the less privileged, and promoting unity and political inclusiveness across Kebbi State have made the TKG Movement a rallying point for genuine progressives who are committed to service and development. He described Engr. Farouk as a true patriot and visionary leader whose humility and commitment to humanity continue to inspire confidence in young people across the state.

The Forum members expressed their admiration for the exemplary leadership style of Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, who, in addition to his national responsibilities as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), continues to dedicate time and resources to uplift communities and strengthen the APC’s grassroots base. They assured the TKG leadership of their readiness to work closely with the Movement to advance the cause of good governance and promote the developmental agenda of both President Tinubu and Governor Idris.

In his remarks, Hon. Kabiru Labbo Jega commended the Malami Youth Forum for their political maturity, steadfastness, and loyalty to the APC despite political changes around them. He described their decision to remain in the APC as a clear demonstration of integrity, courage, and faith in the party’s ideology. According to him, the APC remains the most credible and progressive political party in Nigeria, having produced visionary leaders and delivered unprecedented infrastructure and social programs that are positively impacting millions of lives.

Hon. Jega emphasized that the APC gave Malami the opportunity to serve as the nation’s Attorney General for eight years, making it imperative to acknowledge the platform that nurtured his political rise. He reaffirmed that the TKG Movement, under the leadership of Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar, is open to all well-meaning and responsible individuals who share in the ideals of loyalty, unity, and service to humanity. He further assured the Forum that the Movement will continue to collaborate with all like-minded groups in strengthening the APC and mobilizing support for the administration of President Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris.

He commended the efforts of Engr. Farouk Ahmed Umar in mobilizing support through the TKG Movement, which has become one of the most formidable political structures promoting unity, inclusiveness, and development across Kebbi State. He noted that Engr. Farouk’s commitment to assisting the vulnerable and his unwavering support for grassroots empowerment are testaments to his belief in collective progress and servant leadership.

Hon. Jega also called on all members of the APC, as well as other stakeholders in Kebbi State, to emulate the patriotic example of the Malami Youth Forum by working together to strengthen the party and deepen its presence at the grassroots level. He reiterated that now is the time for unity, collaboration, and loyalty to the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris, whose developmental strides are evident across the nation and the state respectively.

The visit ended on a note of solidarity, mutual respect, and renewed commitment to the advancement of the APC. The Malami Youth Forum pledged their unwavering support to the TKG Movement and assured that they would continue to mobilize youths across Kebbi State in promoting the party’s programs and policies.
