Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk Condoles with His Royal Highness and the Family over the Passing of Hajiya Ma’inna Haruna Rashid

Engr. Ahmed Umar Faruk, FNSE, MCOREN, NPOM (Danmajen Gwandu / MD NAMA), has joined the people of Gwandu Emirate in mourning the passing of Hajiya Ma’inna Haruna Rashid, sister to His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, CFR, the Emir of Gwandu, who departed this life on Thursday, 28th August 2025.

In a demonstration of respect and solidarity, Engr. Faruk personally visited the family residence at G.R.A. to offer his condolences to the Emir of Gwandu, His Royal Highness, and the entire bereaved family.

In a heartfelt condolence message, Engr. Faruk described the late Hajiya Ma’inna as a virtuous woman whose life was marked by humility, kindness, and devotion to family and community. He noted that she was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration, whose legacy of generosity and compassion will remain evergreen in the hearts of her loved ones and all who knew her.

He further emphasized that her passing is not only a personal loss to the family but also to the entire Gwandu Emirate, as she represented values of love, dignity, and service to humanity. “Hajiya Ma’inna will be remembered for her noble character, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to family and tradition,” he remarked.

Engr. Faruk extended his deepest condolences to the Emir of Gwandu, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, CFR, and the entire family of the deceased. He prayed that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives her shortcomings, accepts her good deeds, and grants her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.

“May Allah grant the family and the Gwandu Emirate the fortitude to bear this great and irreplaceable loss,” he added. “Though she has departed this world, her legacy of love, humility, and service will continue to inspire generations to come.”
