*PROFESSORIAL ELEVATION:* *Traditional Rulers And Youth Groups In Arewa Local Govt Honors Professor Garba Kangiwa* 

In recognition and appreciation of his numerous contribution to the development of Arewa local government and its' people, two traditional rulers and youth groups jointly honors Professor Garba Abdullahi Kangiwa over his promotion to the rank of PROFESSOR In Sociology by Federal University, Birnin Kebbi.

The traditional rulers are District Head of Chibeke Alhaji Umar Isah Yakubu and District Head of Jefeje;  and the collaborated youth groups were Kangiwa Youth Educational Development and Kebbi State Forum for Better Future for Young Generation.

Speaking separately on reasons behind their unanimous decision to honor Professor Garba Kangiwa both traditional rulers and youth groups opined that Professor Garba Kangiwa is second to none in facilitating job to youth of Arewa local government at Federal Government Ministries Department and Agencies as well as Military, Police and other Para- military agencies and urged him to maintain the tempor at his present position of Professor of Sociology 

Also speaking at the occasion the Sarkin Arawan Kabi and former member Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Dr Hussaini Kangiwa commended the organizers of the occasion and refer the honor as well deserved especially taking into consideration the roles played by Professor Garba Kangiwa in the development of Arewa local government.

Responding, the celebrity Professor Garba Abdullahi Kangiwa thanked the organizers of the occasion and all people that attended the ceremony.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to return all and sundry to their respective destination.

Professor Garba Abdullahi Kangiwa holds B.Sc, M.Sc and PhD in Sociology and Criminology from Usmanu Dan fodiyo University, Sokoto, University of Ibadan and University of Abuja respectively.

He worked with Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi; Federal Character Commission; Police Service Commission, and now Federal University, Birnin Kebbi.
