PROJECT COORDINATOR, NIGERIA FOR WOMEN PROJECT; YAKUBU MUHAMMAD YAURI  CONFERRES WITH TRADITIONAL TITLE OF FIRST UBANDOMAN YAURI

The Ubandoman Yauri and District Head of Yelwa, Alhaji Abubakar Saidu Yakubu Abarshi has conferred the traditional title of SHETTIMAN UBANDOMAN YAURI to a renowned dedicated Civil Servant, Alhaji Yakubu Muhammad Yauri, currently, the project coordinator, Nigeria for Women Project.

The traditional title of SHETTIMAN UBANDOMAN YAURI is the first of its kind in the history of the District, thus, Yakubu Muhammad is now the first Ubandoman Yauri.

Responding to this development, the appointee Yakubu Muhammad Yauri said:

"My heart is full of joy and unlimited gratitude for being honoured as the Shattiman Ubandoma Yauri by the Ubandoma Yauri, District Head of Yelwa, Alhaji Abubukar Saidu Yakubu Abarshi. 

"Being honored with this traditional title is an opportunity to contribute to the religious, cultural, educational and economic development of Yauri community, and to place her as the pride of Kebbi State and Nigeria at large.

"I wholeheartedly appreciate  His Royal Highness, the Emir of Yauri, Dr. Zayyanu  Abdullahi, CON,FNSM, (Vice Chancellor Emeritus), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto for granting approval for my traditional title. Again, I consider this as a noble call to selflessly serve the people of Yauri. 

"Thanks to my family, friends and well-wishers for their physical and emotional support. Your prayers and love are cherished by me.
