KAMBA BOARDER OFFICIALLY OPENS

THE SOLE ADMINISTRATOR OF DANDI LOCAL GOVERNMENT, DR.MANSUR ISAH ENFORCES PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVES; OPENS KAMBA BOARDER FOR USUAL TRANSACTION

The Sole Administrator of Dandi local government Dr. Mansur Isah Kamba PhD in his capacity as chief security officer of the local government has on Friday 15/03/2024  leads relevant stakeholders to comply with president Tinubu directives on boarder reopening.

Recalled, land boarder was shut down in 2016 by former President Buhari in an attempt to actualized Nigeria's long dreams of self sufficiency in food production especially the rice.

Many people are of the view that the policy done more harm than good as it resulted in higher cost of food items and Nigerians farmers failed to produce enough food to feed the nation, hence the call for incumbent President Tinubu to reverse the policy and reopen the land boarder for continuation of usual daily interaction between the two countries.

Few days ago, President Tinubu uphold the call and reverse boarder closure policy by given a directive of total reopening of the land boarder nation wide.

It is in compliance with this directive that the Sole Administrator of Dandi local government leads top government functionaries including state comptroller of Nigeria Customs Service, traditional rulers and host of others and officially open Kamba boarder accordingly.
