Bagudu approves portfolios for Commissioners
Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the posting of nine recently sworn in Commissioners to respective ministries in the State Civil Service.
The posting of the Commissioners is contained in a press Statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Babale Umar Yauri mni and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi this Monday.
According to the statement;
1- Hon Ibrahim Augie is posted to Ministry of Finance,
2- Hon. Abubakar Chika Ladan, Ministry of Works and Transport,
3- Hon Abdullahi Muhammad Magoro , Ministry of Information and Culture he is also to oversee Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.
4-Hon Hassan Muhammad Shalla is posted to Ministry of Basic Education and Secondary Education
5- Hon. Aminu Garba Dandiga is to steer the affairs of the Ministry of Animal Health, Husbandry and Fisheries.
6-Hon. Dr. Abba Sani Kalgo posted to Ministry of Budget and Economic Development
7- Hon Jafar Muhammad, posted to Ministry of Health
8-Hon. Mamuda M. Wara, posted to Ministry of Land and Housing
9- Hon. Hayatu A. Bawa is posted to Ministry of Environment.
The posting of the Commissioners is with immediate effect.
In another development, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has also approved the appointment of Dr. Tukur Sani Argungu as the Acting Grand Khadi of the State following the retirement of the incumbent Grand Khadi Muktar Imam Jega, a statement by Yahaya Sarki Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor on Media said.
LEAVE GRANT
Meanwhile, Gov Bagudu approves payment of Leave Grant for State, local Government, LGEAs
He approved the release of the sum of N2,566,580,098.35 (Two Billion Five Hundred and Sixty Six Million Five Hundred and Eighty Thousand Ninety Eight Naira Thirty Five Kobo) only for payment of two years leave grant covering 2021 and 2022 for the Staff of State, Local Government and Local Government Education Authority.
This is contained in a Press Statement signed by the Hon. Commissioner of Finance, Hon . Ibrahim Muhammad Augie and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi this Monday.
According to the statement, Kebbi State Government under the leadership of Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu had regularly met its obligations on human resource entitlements for its serving and retired workers. This fact was attested to by both the state and national chapters of the Nigerian Labour Congresses during their nationwide State rally held in Birnin Kebbi recently.
The statement further says, Kebbi State under the leadership of Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu is among the few elite states with the best track records on staff welfare and development.
All salaries, pensions, gratuity, leave grants, promotions, advancements and trainings have been regularly maintained by the administration from inception in 2015 to date.
The Commissioner called on Workers in the State to compliment the efforts of Government by always putting their best to be dutiful, loyal and hard working to help government deliver on all the excellent programs pursued by it in uplifting the overall development of the state to greater heights.
